Elizabeth II crowned queen

On June 02  in 1953, 27-year-old Elizabeth was crowned queen of England, having taken the throne upon her father's death in February 1952.
Elizabeth II is the Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms. Elizabeth was born in Mayfair, London, as the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York.
